Perhaps you'll get a notification of my comment. <br /><br />I have been the "owner" of Cloud for the last 3 1/2 years. I phrase it that way because, as you appropriately stated in another entry, "How to own land which will be here long after me; which will never come to me, but always draw me toward it, which will harbor and rest me...nourish me in ways I am already dreaming about." <br /><br />I stumbled upon your page completely by chance through a google link tied to the property. I just wanted to express how happy your writing about Cloud has made me. Aside from my valuable alone time there, I often bring friends and family down to Prattsburgh to share the space. While it is appreciated, nobody seems to have the deep, emotional connection to the land that I do. Seeing how you romanticize what it meant to you makes me feel less alone and for that, I thank you.
